Challenge #4 - On A Budget

Thank you to everyone who joined in last weeks challenge.

Our challenge this week is :~ On A Budget!!

With the economy in mind and the looming credit crunch we are all watching the £'s/$'s so i would like you to make a card (or whatever you choose to make) for less than £1/$2.
Your stamps and colouring pens/pencils are excluded from the price/budget.
You may also use any tools you have to create the card/project.
Items you may have received for free/in a swap or a RAK may be used but they must have an estimated value/cost.
Please remember to work out the cost for everything else:
card blank
any papers and card used
flowers/blooms
DST, glue etc (obviously this won't be much so a small estimate is fine).

It's entirely your choice what you make - card, Lay out, atc, etc anything goes as long as it features at least one House Mouse or Friends image and follows this weeks theme.

Here's what our lovely DT have produced and don't forget to check out their blogs for a break down of the cost of their cards and other details!!

~America~ Estimated cost $0.40 (£0.20 ish)
~Carolyn~ Total cost $0.44 (£0.22 ish)
~Emma~ Total cost £0.35 ($0.70 ish)
~Janneke~ Total cost - please see blog
~Jennifer~ Total cost $1.99 (£0.98 ish)
~Judith~ Total cost $1.85 (£0.92 ish)
~Lori~ Total cost $0.69 (£0.35 ish)

~Mary~ Total cost $0.30 (£0.15 ish)
~Stacy~ Total cost - please see blog
~Suzy~ Total cost $0.38 (£0.19 ish)
~Tracy~ Total cost £0.82 ($1.60 ish)
Please leave us a comment with a link to your card. For those who don't have a blog please feel free to email them to me.

Card emailed by Darrell - Total cost of card $1.00

Thanks.

Noooooooooooo!!! Maths!! I hate maths!! I felt myself get all hot and panicky when I saw this. It took me right back to school, when I would take a maths problem home for homework, and my dad would sit over me, tutting and telling me I was stupid when I couldn't get my head around it. I am scarred for life!

Tell you what, I'll make a card with two mice on it. I can manage to count that far! lol ;o) That's the best I can do! ;o)

How fun... I never have kept up with how much I spend on each card, I don't think I want to do this every time or want to add up all my past cards, too scarey! But had fun this time. Wonderful DT cards!

Thanks for the inspiration!! It was interesting to think about the cost of the project...something I rarely do!

I chose to create a recipe page for using this challenge. It can be found on my blog:
