Challenge #13 - Use your Junk!!

Thank you to every one who joined in last week, youre work just keeps getting better and better (if thats possible!!). Please check back later to see who will be given the guest DT spot.

Our challenge this week is :~ Junk!!

I'm sure we all have at least one in our house, junk drawer that is.......lol. Your challenge is to use something from your pile of junk on your creation, it couldn't be easier!!

It's entirely your choice what you make - card, Lay out, atc, etc anything goes as long as it features at least one House Mouse or Friends image and follows this weeks theme.

Here's what our lovely DT have produced and don't forget to check out their blogs for more details!!
America
Junk................Safety pin.

Carolyn
Junk..............Nuts, washers & 'thingies' in the corners......lol (can you tell Carolyn has been rading hubby's tool box!! :-)
Emma
Junk.........Interchangeable leather flower from kids sandals (sandals came with 3 different attachments!)
Janneke
Junk.........Old ribbon scraps used on the left.
Judith
Junk............Twine used on right.
Lori
Junk.................Floral wire.

Stacy
Junk.............Golf tee found in drawer (don't tell her hubby but i think she nicked it from him......lol - only joking hun :-)
SuzyFYI - Suzy will be posting a basic colouring tutorial on her blog later so please check it out!!

Tracy
Junk.........Paper bag: used as backing paper and handle as the knot.
Please leave us a comment with a link to your card. For those who don't have a blog please feel free to email them to me.

Thanks.

What a great idea! The DT cards are really amazing!
I wonder how big 'junk' could be... our central heating fell out 3 days ago (brrr!), maybe a few mice here and there might help to start it up again! Anyway, looking around for junk will definitely keep me warm, lol! I must admit though that life is even a bit more romantic now the house is getting colder: nothing as cozy as the two of us all snuggled up in our couch underneath a big blanket! But I DO miss the comfort of my central heating!
Off now looking for some (minor) junk!
Happy Monday to you all.

This was a fun challenge. I had to think all week long which piece of junk I would use. I made 2 cards, one using a bamboo skewer (I don't do fondue so why do I have this) and the other I used a scrap of bubble wrap to 'stamp' a background. My cards are in my SCS gallery at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=112075
