Welcome to our new DT members

First of all thank you to everyone who applied and a special thanks to our final 11 who produced such amazing work.

It was a very tough choice but one that had to be made.

DT applicants

Thank you all so much for completing the challenge. I thought i'd posted you a hard challenge but now realised we have the hardest job of all - trying to choose just 3 of you!!

Each and everyone of you have done yourselves proud and you would all be an asset to any DT.

Like i said the job you have given us to decide is a very difficult one and myself and the DT are still trying to come to a final decission. So i would just like to appologise for the wait (i know a day can feel like a week whilst waiting) and that the lucky 3 will be notified and of course another blog post on here as soon as we know ourselves.

Hopefully that will be sometime tonight but by tomorrow afternoon at latest (UK time) as i'm away after then and wouldn't want to keep you all waiting any longer.

Please make a card or anything you would like with an aperture (for anyone who is not sure what an aperture is it's basically a hole in your card/project)

KLM Digi Stamps (KLM Designs) was started by a Mother & Daughter team. Kathryn (owner of KLM Digi Stamps) and Sue (Company’s artist) started designing digi stamps for their own creations. After much response & excitement to their designs they formed KLM Digi Stamps.

KLM carry’s a large selection of designs from clowns, which are the company’s signature design to digi sentiments. All images are delivered ZIP format. Each image file contains JPEG and PNG format files. Images can be resized, reversed and altered to your likings.

Design Team Finalists challenge

This challenge is for the 11 finalists chosen in the last post.

We are looking for 3 DT members to join our team so i wish each and every one of you the best of luck and i know before hand that it's not going to be an easy decision as you are all so talented.

As this is the final round i didn't want to make it too easy :-)..........so here goes with the challenge...

There are two parts to this challenge

The first is..........Simplicity

Please make a card which is simple in style, you know the saying 'less is more!' You can use embellishments but please keep it simple so it show off your image which is to be the focal point.

The next step is..........OTT (Over the top)

Please use the same image as the first card you make but this time really 'go to town' on the card, whether it be with big ribbons, bows, embellishments or bright or patterned papers it's really up to you.

The closing date for your blog post to be linked to this post is Monday 26 October 12pm GMT.

We are looking for new members to join our design team.

If you are a fellow House Mouse and friends lover, would like to join our DT and feel you could commit to the team and produce one card every 2 weeks then here's your chance!!

So, what do you have to do................
Produce a card using either a house mouse, gruffies or happy hopper stamp which shows your crafting style. There are no rules, this is your chance to show us your stuff without being told what to do!!

All we ask is that your work is new and submitted (via the comments box) on this post. The deadline is Monday 12th October @ 12pm GMT. We will then choose the finalists to go into the next round for a final challenge which will lead to the selection of new team members.
