Challenge #19 - Embossing

Thank you to everyone who joined in with last weeks special challenge, Joanne would have loved every one of them and i'm sure the person in need that received your card was very grateful.

PLEASE NOTE THIS CHALLENGE WILL BE RUNNING FROM MONDAY 22nd DEC 2008 TO 5th JANUARY 2009 (2 WEEKS!!), HOPEFULLY THAT WAY YOU'LL HAVE TIME TO JOIN IN :-)

Our challenge this week is :~ Embossing!!

This week's challenge is our lovely Lori's idea. We would like to see some form of embossing on your work. This can be heat or dry embossing, pre-embossed papers etc etc.

It's entirely your choice what you make - card, Lay out, atc, etc anything goes as long as it features at least one House Mouse or Friends image and follows this weeks theme.

We also have a prize up for grabs this week sponsored by............

Challenge #18 - A Sketch

Thank you to everyone who joined in with last weeks challenge :-)

Today I have heard of the passing of one of our HM challenge participants. All of the team including myself wanted to do a tribute or something in honour of Joanne. As Carolyn has said on her blog.........'Heaven has gained the sweetest and most loving of Angels. She spread love not only through her cards, but through her beautiful blog posts and the comments she left behind. I will miss her greatly!!!'. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joanne's family and friends at this sad time. xxx

This weeks challenge is in memory of Joanne and we hope as many of you as possible will be able to join in.

Our challenge this week is :~ A Sketch and a kind thought!!
With this sketch you can flip it, shrink it, rotate it, twist it etc but you MUST be able to see the original sketch in your work.

The kind thought..........The Johnson family has requested the following on Joannes blog...........Joanne spread much joy through her card making. If you would like to do something in memory of her, we are sure she would like you to send a card to someone in need.

Please make your card based on the sketch and send it to someone in need. The DT had already made there cards before we heard this sad news therefore we will all be joining in and sending a card to someone in need.

Look at this Blizzard of Creativity!!!

First of all, please allow me to apologize for not posting last week's challenge submissions. It seems time has been moving at break-neck speed these past few weeks, and I just can't seem to keep up with it or catch up. Hopefully, all of this will soon calm down and will get back to its normal, manageable pace...definitely keeping my fingers and toes crossed for that:o)

Challenge #17 - Let it Snow

Thank you to all that joined in last weeks challenge.

I am so sorry that this challenge wasn't posted yesterday but my internet went down early morning and has only just come back. Myself and the team will be discussing and arranging a back up plan so if this happens again hopefully it won't interupt the challenges.

Our challenge this week is :~ Let It Snow!!

This week we would like to see snow on your work. This could be the word 'snow', paper with snow flakes, a snow themed stamp, white puffy 'snow'................... the list is endless
